Ladies, gentlemen and snow sports enthusiasts of all ages. Welcome to the Peninsula Ski Club's monthly meetings. Here's what we have planned for your entertainment and edification (subject to surprises beyond our control):
NOV 14 We could add a lot of fun to and enrich our lives if we took more advantage of one of our commonwealth's great assets: our state parks. Come find out what's there for us from one of their education specialists.
DEC 12 Christmas holiday party
JAN 9 No matter how stone cold uninterested you might be in art of any form, you've got to see this. The Virginia Bonsai Society will be presenting those miniature trees. It is so interesting how they do this, and these sometimes generations old creations can be so beautiful that it hurts (in a great way) to look at them!
FEB No meeting scheduled at this time. Enjoy the slopes!
MAR Ski World returns! This won't be the fashion/gear show as in the past. Ricky, the owner and gear guru, will do a presentation about how to select the best skis for you. We know you can read and YouTube a lot about this, but he can answer questions specifically personal to you. This is timed to be at the end of the ski season but before the summer sales.
