Peninsula Ski Club will join several other clubs from our region for the Blue Ridge Ski Council's (BRSC) 2025 Western Carnival trip to Park City Mountain, UT. With 7,300 acres of skiable terrain and the largest lift access in the U.S., Park City received a record breaking 636" of snow last season.
This Mountain offers more than 120 groomed trails each day, the most of any ski resort in North America. You can also Ski to Town via the historic Park City Town Runs.
If you like blue cruisers, Park City might feel like heaven, with 42% of the terrain rated as intermediate, 8% (27 trails) beginners, and 50% experts. The elevation ranges between 7,000 and 10,000 feet above sea level at a place such as the Jupiter peak; however, the top elevation is not as extreme as some in the Rockies but still high.
But if skiing or snowboarding are not your thing, there's plenty of other attractions to keep you occupied. Park City and the surrounding area are an outdoor playground with a wide range of winter activities, including the Mountain Coaster (climb into thrilling toboggan-style cars of the Alpine coaster), the Flying Eagle Zipline, and other activities like snowmobiling, sledding & snow tubing, hiking & snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. If you’re more into the indoor scene, there are plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants.
We'll be staying with a few other BRSC clubs at the
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Park City-The Yarrow, in 1-bedroom units located five minutes from Main Street. Also, the free Park City Transit System stops right outside. The hotel also features a year-round heated outdoor pool, whirlpool, and fitness center.
The estimated package price of $2,980 includes:
