Waterskiing is often thought of as an exclusive sport, but it does not have to be. In addition to snow sports, Peninsula Ski Club welcomes all water sports enthusiasts, from those who are pros to those who are wanting to learn. The only requirement is that you bring enthusiasm.
Our club has a group of boat owners and enthusiasts who partake in:
- General waterskiing/water sports
- Slalom skiing
- Wakeboarding
- Wake surfing
We are a
USA Water Ski & Wake Sports affiliated club, and we have a portable slalom course that we periodically install on the Chickahominy River. The goals of the waterskiing branch of PSC are:
- Share experiences and fun
- Maintain a slalom ski course for club use
- Leverage shared knowledge to improve capabilities
- Leverage club participation to experience different boats/equipment
- Host occasional grassroots events such as a fun tournament (class C) and/or ski clinic
- Acquire USA-WSWS boat driver and safety certifications
