Peninsula Ski Club is pleased to present this very special opportunity to experience Japan in the winter, with skiing/snowboarding as the centerpiece of the trip. The base package includes six nights in the village of Hakuba and one night in Tokyo.

In Hakuba, we'll be staying at the 4-star Mominoki Hotel, at the base of the Happo-one ski area, with free shuttle access to nine additional ski areas within a half-hour ride. Our lift ticket (or your Epic Pass) provides access to all 10 of the Hakuba Valley ski areas, with up to 5 days of skiing/riding.

In Tokyo, we'll be at the 4-star Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, convenient to transportation and various attractions in the city.

The trip package includes numerous social & cultural events, including dinners on several evenings. A variety of day excursions are available (at moderate additional cost) to locations such as the Snow Monkey Park and Sake Village, Matsumoto Castle, Nagano farmhouse, etc.

We'll be traveling with members from several other clubs in the Blue Ridge Ski Council on a non-stop flight from Dulles to Tokyo on All Nippon Airways. Ground transportation in Japan will be by charter coach with a return to Tokyo on one of the famed bullet trains.

Optional pre- and post-trip extensions offer additional ski and/or touring days at Niseko on the northern island of Hokkaido or additional days in Tokyo with or without a side trip to Kyoto.

For a more detailed summary, see the trip flyer or contact the Trip Captain.
