With a direct flight from Norfolk to Denver and less than two hours of bus trip you’ll be transported to one the most posh ski resorts in the country. Beaver Creek's motto: not exactly roughing it.

We’ll be staying at the Charter at Beaver Creek in two-bedroom condos with ski-in ski-out (or snowboard-in and -out) access to the slopes and free cookies in the afternoon from their friendly white glove service. Beaver Creek has over 2,000 acres of skiable area, 3,340 ft. of vertical rise, summit elevation at 11,440 ft., and a 2.75 mile run to enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains as you cruise down. On average Beaver Creek receives over 300 inches of Colorado powder per season.  And there’s more to do than just downhill skiing: snowmobiling, nordic sports, snowshoeing, ice skating, and ziplining.

Also covered on the Epic pass, Vail is a short hop away as an optional day trip (at modest extra cost for ground transportation).
The estimated package price of $2,545 includes:
  • round-trip airfare from Norfolk, VA to Denver, CO
  • ground transportation between Denver and Beaver Creek
  • 7 nights condo lodging (double occupancy, 4 persons per condo)
  • baggage handling and gratuities
  • 1 group dinner
  • free shuttle service in the village
Lift tickets are not included; you must purchase your own Epic pass in advance.

$25 discount for sign-up by June 30, 2023.

All prices are good faith estimates and may vary depending on the number of participants and other circumstances beyond Peninsula Ski Club's control.

This trip has non-standard cancellation fees, as follows:
  • through August 15, 2023:  $95
  • after August 15, 2023:  all unrecoverable costs

Singles policy: The PSC Board of Directors has formalized club policy regarding single travelers without roommates. Please review the event rules below before registering. To avoid excessive lodging charges in the event that a suitable roommate cannot be found, singles are strongly encouraged to pair up with a roommate before signing up for this trip.

Payment notice: Online credit card payments through this site are limited to $1,500 per transaction. If your initial deposit or subsequent scheduled payment exceeds this amount, you must pay by check. Depending on the options selected, you may be able to reduce payment amounts below the limit by registering each family member separately. Your registration is not considered effective until payment has been received.

You must be a current member of the Peninsula Ski Club or another Blue Ridge Ski Council club to sign up for this trip.

Single travelers will assume the extra cost of a private room (single supplement) if a suitable roommate cannot be found. To eliminate such risk, single travelers are encouraged to make mutual arrangements for a roommate and to specify their roommate at the time of trip sign-up. Two singles who do not wish to room together will each incur the cost of a single supplement if no other acceptable roommates are available. In some cases, lodging capacity and bedding configurations may limit the number of singles that can be accommodated.
Cancellation Policy:
Payments for ski trips are subject to the following cancellation fees: (1) $5 for trips priced at $100 or less;
(2) for trips priced over $100, (a) $25 if cancelled up to the date of the September meeting, or (b) $50 if cancelled after the September meeting date and before the stated refund cutoff date for the trip, or (c) if cancelled after the stated refund cutoff date, the greater of (i) the club's unrecoverable costs or (ii) $50;
(3) individual trips may establish higher cancellation fees which will be noted in marketing materials for the trip;
(4) certain items purchased in conjunction with trips (e.g., season or multi-resort passes) may be non-refundable regardless of the cancellation date.
