Be Ready for the 2019/2020 Membership Year

Published on 3/23/2019
Our new club membership year begins on May 1, 2019 and runs through April 30, 2020. Automated renewal notices will be sent out via email during the first week of April (or by regular mail for members without email addresses). You may renew online using a credit/debit card or by mailing in a check to cover your renewal. Alternatively, you can fill out the membership form included in this newsletter and either mail it in or bring it to a club meeting along with your dues payment.

Online renewals are preferred since they save us from having to manually process paperwork and they also give you a chance to update your interests, contact info, etc. If you are currently a member (or have been at any time since the 2017/2018 membership year), please do not “join” again, since that will result in duplicate entries in our membership database. Instead, please renew.

Sign-ups for our 2020 ski trips will commence at 7:00 p.m. on May 9, corresponding with our May club meeting.  Trip flyers and other details will be published in the May newsletter and will appear on the PSC website on or about May 1. Trip captains will present their trips at the May meeting.

You may register for trips online, in person, or by mail, with slots assigned on a first-come first-serve basis. Capacity is limited and popular trips may sell out in a hurry. In recent years, our western trips have been filling up in a matter of days or even hours, so be thinking about what trips you want to go on and don’t procrastinate in signing up. Note that your membership must be current (i.e., renewed) for the coming year in order to sign up for trips; our online registration system will not allow us to add you to a trip if your membership has expired.

(One exception: Due to an early requirement for payments to the tour operator, our Feb. 2020 trip to Japan began accepting mail-in deposits on January 15, 2019. There are just a few slots left, so if you’re interested in that trip, don’t wait until online registration begins in May. See the trip flyer elsewhere in this newsletter for details.)

You can avoid registration delays and the possibility of losing a slot by making sure in advance that your membership is current, you know your username and password, and you are able to login to the website at peninsulaskiclub.com.

If you have questions about the renewal or registration process or have trouble logging in, contact webmaster@peninsulaskiclub.com.
