Stowe, Vermont - Winterfest

Stowe Gondola
Stowe Mountain Resort
BRSC Winterfest
Stowe, VT
Mar. 4–9, 2018

Calling all Skiers and Snowboarders: The Peninsula Ski Club has joined forces with the Richmond Ski Club and the Blue Ridge Ski Council to bring you a fun-filled trip to one of New England's premier ski resorts — at a great price!

Located on Vermont's highest peak, Stowe is known for the variety of its terrain, its long runs, and its gondolas, as well as the historic village with its restaurants and brew pubs. And now that Stowe is part of Vail Resorts, your Epic Pass can save you the price of a separate lift ticket.

Now in its third year, Winterfest complements the Council's popular Western Carnival and Eurofest trips, leveraging the buying power of multiple clubs to secure great deals on lifts and lodging.  Plus you'll have ample opportunity to meet, mingle, swap tales, and ski with members of other clubs in our region.

PSC and RSC participants will be staying at the Commodores Inn in the nearby village of Stowe. A free shuttle bus runs every 20-30 minutes between the town and the resort.

PSC's package price of $836 includes:

  • Roundtrip BRSC motor coach to/from the Richmond, VA area or northern Virginia
  • 4 days skiing (M-Th)
  • Council ski & snowboard racing with awards
  • 5 nights lodging at Commodores Inn, double occupancy w/ 2 queens or 1 king
  • Daily hot breakfast buffet
  • Indoor heated pool & hot tub
  • Free shuttle service to/from the resort
  • BRSC parties: Mon. welcome reception, Weds. après ski reception, Thurs. farewell reception
The bus will depart from the north side of Richmond at 5:30 a.m. and will stop in northern Virginia en route. PSC participants may pick up the bus at either location, or you can provide your own transportation to Stowe with a corresponding reduction in price. The bus will leave Stowe after breakfast on Friday for the return trip. If you're not riding the bus, you can add a 5th day of skiing (Fri.) for just $31.

Single occupancy rooms are also available at extra cost.

Special refund policy: A deposit of $200 per person is non-refundable; cancellations prior to the refund cut-off date (Jan. 20, 2018) are eligible to recover lodging costs only if the tour operator can adjust accommodations to eliminate any empty beds; other costs (bus, lift tickets) may not be recoverable after the refund cut-off date. If you are concerned about refunds, we recommend that you purchase trip insurance to cover unforseen circumstances.

For complete pricing and additional details, see the trip flyer.
